On Friday 28th June we hosted our first ‘Gin & Graze Evening’ event with the theme Gins from around the Mediterranean at the gorgeous Gather Grow Connect, St Ives, Cambridgeshire. The venue had been beautifully dressed by the talented team at Hall & Co Event Design with vintage style lounge seating for guests.

The night started at 19:30 and all guests received a gin fizz cocktail on arrival, choosing from Edinburgh Gin‘s Rhubarb & Ginger or Elderflower Gin liquors.

Have a look at the evening’s menu we carefully created, perfectly pairing each gin with a different tonic and garnish for a vast array of options to entice taste buds!

Guests sampled 4 single (25ml measure) G&T’s of their choice be before enjoying their favourite as a double (50ml measure).

We had Audemus Pink Pepper, Citadelle, Lola & Vera, Bloody Bens, Family of Hounds, Malfy Gin Rosa, Dubrovnik Dry Gin & Grace.

Whilst the event was taking place, the amazing Mediterranean inspired grazing board extravaganza which included charcuterie meats, cheeses, olives, breads and other foodie delights were being tucked into.

We received some amazing feedback from those who attended which can be seen here.

Hannah Spencer from ‘Camwegetfrieswiththat‘ said “We had a gorgeous night at the Mediterranean Gin & Graze evening. The venue was beautifully decorated, the gins were all delish with really pretty and interesting garnishes. It was great to try a variety of different gins that weren’t the usual suspects. So if you like your gin, don’t think twice about going to future events, it’s a must! Everyone involved in the evening was really friendly and passionate too, a great team!”

Clare Gray from ‘Claire Gray Designs‘ described her experience as ”We had an absolute blast last night at the gin tasting event in St Ives. So many fantastic mediterranean gins that I’d never heard of before, served and garnished in such inventive ways. My absolute favourite was a Croatian Gin served with elderflower tonic, orange and rose petals. There was a lovely Mediterranean grazing table to match the gins, and Chloe & Trudi were such friendly hosts. Thanks guys, you’ve inspired me to be more creative with my G&Ts at home now too!”

SAVE THE DATE – our next event will be held at the same venue in Cambridgeshire on Friday 6th September 2019 with a Best of British theme. More information & tickets will be announced soon.
