This is a truly summer G&T and we’re thoroughly enjoying ours whilst sat in the garden soaking up the remaining evening sun tonight. Every month we look forward to receiving our box of goodies from Craft Gin Club and Jon & John (Co-Founders) never disappoint.

THEODORE PICTISH GIN

This months aromatic gin from the wilds of the Scottish Highlands is perfectly complemented with Fentimans Pink Rhubarb tonic water.

We’ve also reviewed Franklin & Sons Rhubarb tonic which we LOVED here.

We garnished our G&T’s; one with fresh grapefruit and the other with the dried grapefruit provided in this month’s box. Our feedback goes against Craft Gin Club’s and we actually preferred the additional citrus kick to add to this already exciting flavour palette.

ABOUT THE GIN

“Inspired by the Scottish Highlands” and sitting on the shelf at 43% ABV, this is the first gin with a bourbon infusion that I have actually enjoyed!

The 16 botanicals are carefully selected to depict the flavours of the wilderness within the Scottish Highlands. These include; honey, coriander, citric pomelo, bourbon vetiver, damask rose, juniper (of course), pink pepper, angelica, chamomile, kaffir lime, ginger, orris, pine, lavender, cardamom and oolong tea. It’s the oolong tea that gives this gin a pale, golden colour.
